Many of our beautiful cats and kittens are looking for a loving and caring forever home of their own. They are socialized, healthy and affectionate. If you choose to adopt on of them, they will be your best companion.
Food for life
When the tourists go home the restaurants and hotels close down and the villages and beaches become abandoned. Only the stray cats are left behind.
With no shelter for the rain and cold, no food, no nothing....
Food for Life is our winter feeding program. We buy and deliver food to 23 villages where local volunteers help us to give them a daily meal. This is only possible with the donations we get, so please, help us to continue this work!
Trap - Neuter - Return
Our main vision is to neuter as many strays as possible to prevent new kittens being born into a miserable life, and to reduce the population growth. This is the only sustainable solution to the problem. There are thousands of strays, and we cannot keep them all in sanctuaries. Every week we trap a lot of stray cats and take them to the vet for neutering and anti parasite treatment. It costs us 50 euros for the males and 60 euros for the females. Please make a donation to help us finance this important task.
Rescue and care
These might be the photos you don't want to see, but it is the reality we have to face every single day. These are the facts about the strays in Corfu. They suffer from malnutrition, infections, parasites, skin issues,teeth problems, wounds, ear cancer caused by the sun, broken legs and other injuries. Some have been beaten in their head so they have neurological problems.
We do all that we can to help, and we save many of them, but unfortunately we cannot save them all. We use a lot of money on the veterinary bills. Please help us by donating!
The Kingdom
In The Kingdom we live together with approximate 100 cats and kittens. They have a wonderful plot of land with fields, bushes and old olive trees where they love to run, hunt, climb and play, or to relax. Connected to our house we have built two shelters where they can stay when it is rainy or cold. On the property we also have a cozy cabin for our volunteers.
Visitors and volunteers
Visitors and volunteers are warmly welcomed by us and by the cats. Most of them are very curious and come to greet everyone who visits their Kingdom. They love to be cuddled and to sit on your lap or shoulder.
